What is SafeRecords?

- SafeRecords is a research project by LUT University. This project aims to create a GDPR-compliant storage and verification system for employment history. SafeRecords uses blockchain to create a secure and trustworthy system that preserves the privacy of its users.
- Our goal is to enable workers to move across country borders and to lower the burden required for employment history verification. With increased trust, we believe the mobility of the workforce can be increased and a lot of bureaucracy issues resolved faster.
- The project started in January 2023 and will last until the summer of 2024. Our goal is to create an application that demonstrates the possibilities of blockchain and proves privacy compliance.
